Go Soul Silver!!! I have been obsessively playing this game since it came out on Sunday and I already have 6 badges.
So I was in the Pokemon center with my Scyther and I turned around to talk with it and this is what it told me O_o. With any other pokemon it would have been cute, but Scyther has these huge stabby death arms...
So...I like my Scyther as a Scyther, but I also want it to be strong. Should I evolve it or not?

Scizor isn't necessarily stronger than Scyther, they have the same stat total if 500. Scizor and Scyther have different strategies and fit on different teams, Scyther is faster, but less bulky and has less attack, Scizor is slower, but is bulkier and has more attack. Scyther and Scizor are good sweepers because they have Swords Dance, but overall I prefer Scyther, since bad speed is very risky for a sweeper and also because he just looks cooler. Many people agree Scizor is stronger though.
